Razin Hell scored today at Southwell over 5f for the Alan McCabe racing team. Carrying 8st 1lb and with Silvester De Sousa in the saddle the pair got into a battling finish,winning by a nose at 4/1.

True To Form with Tom Queally in the saddle won nicely over 8f at Lingfield this afternoon, for the Alan McCabe racing team. The pair waited just off the pace then made their move when the leader weakened and came home strongly at a price of 12/1.

Masterful Act won gamely today for the Alan McCabe racing team at Southwell over 12f. With Tom Queally in the saddle the pair gamely fought off the Mark Johnston trained 4/6f Hunting Ground, to win by a neck at 5/2.

Una Bella Cosa ran a satisfactory race at Wolverhampton this afternoon. Adopting a new race strategy and back to wearing the visor, her jockey Shane Kelly held her up towards the rear of the field for most of the race before producing her in the finishing straight.Bella ran on gamely and finished a creditable 4th two and a half lengths off the winner at a price of 3/1. The strategy adopted for this race was not satisfactory and Bella will be using her usual tactic of running up with the pace, if not allowed to dictate it, in her future races. Bella is entered in the Book Now For Jump Racing 22-02-14 over 8f 2:50pm Kempton Park on Sunday 2nd February.
