Flying Pickets scored at Southwell today at 9/2 after almost giving the race away. He had to be pushed along very early in the race by John Fahy but he soon tracked the leaders, and went ahead two furlongs out. Pickets then edged left and was narrowly headed before John rallied him again to lead at the post.
