Showboating scored a very good win for trainer Alan McCabe at Wolverhampton over 6f on Friday. A strong early pace was set by Enjoyment, but Showboating came off the pace in the finishing straight and was then badly hampered shortly after, being cannoned into by Crew Cut and in turn side swiping Mawjoodah, the incident was caused by the eventual second placed horse Bond Fastrac. However Showboating and jockey Martin Harley overcame the incident and in a battling finish took the win.
