Although the weather tried to put a dampener on our naming day event on Sunday ,the day wasn't spoiled. The name voted for our 2yo filly was Una Bella Cosa and she was toasted in champagne by her owners, before they made their way to The Crown Hotel in Southwell for a naming day lunch. The food was good, the company excellent, and on form,which made a very enjoyable afternoon.
On Monday the weather was different again, the sun being out and no rain, and some of Bellas owners were at the stables to watch her canter on the gallops. We also welcomed Paul and Trish who had come to view Bella and the facilities at Averham Park. Being impressed by both they too have taken a share in Bella.
