Una Bella Cosa had her second introduction to the racecourse at Doncaster on Friday, in the first race on the card over 6f.She continued her education to racing satisfactorily taking the preliminaries in her stride, except for one small blip when she was spooked by something, causing her to unship her jockey, on the way down to the stalls. Her race turned out to be the fastest 6f race on the card, including those contested by older horses, which was encouraging as she ran second for the first 4f of the race before being passed. She is bred to contest races in excess of 6f but is still quite weak and needs to grow into herself and strengthen up before running over greater distance. All concerned were pleased with her efforts and look forward to her next engagement.
