Evanescent provided another winner for the Alan McCabe Racing team at Thirsk yesterday at 4/1. Kieran Fallon made all on the 3yo,staying on well to win by the narrowest of margins. Art Form at 3/1 finished third in the Apprentice race at the same meeting, and Showboating finished third at 12/1 at York, in a desperate finish missing the win by a nose and a short head.
