Una Bella Cosa has come out of her run at Doncaster last Thursday in good order. Alan was satisfied with her performance in what was a stiff maiden event. Bella again took the preliminaries in her stride, broke from the stalls quickly, but then had to be restrained by Ioannis as she pulled very hard while running in second place. She was on the pace for 5f of the 7f race before weakening, but galloped all the way to the line. There are three meetings at Southwell in August, and if a suitable race can be found for Bella she is likely to contest one of these events.
