Today at Nottingham Una Bella Cosa ran a good race although the result was poor. The jockey Nora Looby had been instructed to let Bella "bowl along,"but being so fresh and off the course for 76 days, she broke like a sprinter and Nora struggled to hold her as she powered off, leading for 6f of the race before tiring at the 2f pole and dropping back. She appears to have come out of the race okay, everyone concerned was happy with her effort and she showed no signs of any of the niggles she had suffered earlier in the year.
