Una Bella Cosa put in a fine performance, after recent set backs, at Southwell yesterday over 7f finishing third. She contested the lead up to 2f out when the odds on favourite Testamatta went by to win comfortably. But Bella got into a ding dong with Nordikhab for second place, going under by a neck and over a distance short of her best. Both Testamatta and Nordikhab are rated 76 and 78 respectively which is considerably higher than Bella with the 4th placed horse Solarmaite, which was 4 lengths behind Bella, rated 63. Bella has an entry at Wolverhampton 5:10pm on Monday 13th May but it is very unlikely she will contest this event.
We were at the yard when Bella returned from her exertions and can report that she looked in fine fettle with no obvious problems to report.
